Eyesight problems in children can manifest themselves in many different ways. For example, they may complain of visual fatigue, discomfort, poor near vision, headaches or migraines, blurred vision or poor visual acuity. You may notice strabismus (convergence of the eyes), impaired colour vision or poor far vision in your child.
In all cases, an eye examination by an ophthalmologist will make it possible to detect any visual disorder. If in doubt, we advise you to talk to your paediatrician or eye health specialist.
They can then define whether the pathology deserves visual correction, such as the prescription of corrective lenses or rehabilitation with the help of an orthoptist.
